What… is a Gator Face, you ask?

Gator Face is a southern rock band playing great music from bands such as
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, ZZ Top, Elvin Bishop and more. Complimenting that heritage, classic rock tunes by artists including ,
Bad Company, Bob Seger, John Cougar, Steve Miller, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Young, round out the play list. Additionally, female vocals that add a big dimension to background vocals also allows us to add some great selections from Fleetwood Mac, Bonnie Raitt & Janice Joplin, just to name a few.

The act is made up of some great musicians that have been in very popular
bands in the upstate, N.Y. region, national and international acts.
Individually, the members have opened for the likes of, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, R.E.O. Speedwagon and Charlie Daniels.
Collectively, this group of seasoned musicians know what it takes to make an audience rock, and have a proven track record for pure entertainment.

At the heart of the band is something that no southern rock band can do without. Two strong guitarists, each with 25+ years stage experience. One with a heavier sound and the all important slide, the other with a cleaner finger picking sound. Combine them and this really captures the essence of what makes southern rock music so unique from other forms of rock & roll.

The next ingredient is essential for any authentic southern rock band. The honky tonk piano. Not only does the keyboardist play with great passion for the music,
He has the pedigree from Berklee College of Music.

The back bone of any outstanding band is the rhythm section.
Take one of the strongest drummers in the region, with 30 years experience
behind his kit, 20 of them simmering in the recording studio. But, that is only half
the rhythm section! The other half is the bass. And ours is thumping. With many years experience as a instrumentalist, sound technician and engineer, he is
superb at his job and really adds the boom to the band.

All this topped by two vocalists who totally capture the essence of the artists
they cover, and are true entertainers with the ability to work the crowd utilizing
many years of experience, performing for thousands of fans.
